Increasing farmers’ access to agriculture information through call back based agriculture helpline

On 11 November 2015, Katalyst and Enroute signed a contract with Supreme Seed Company in order to facilitate the increased access of farmers to agricultural information by assisting Supreme to develop an in-house call back based customer care helpline. Under this initiative, farmers are required only to place a missed call from any number to a long code number upon which call center agent(s) at Supreme’s premises will call them back and answer their agriculture queries. Katalyst and Enroute will facilitate Supreme Seed Company in developing the necessary software to operate this service as well as conduct promotional activities to create awareness among the farmers about the service.
